Many people have ideas about learning English, but the best methods are proven methods. All the textbooks in the world will not help someone learn English if the information is not based on results. If you want to learn English, look at the people around who have learned a second language. One gentleman who learned several different languages told his friend about his methods to help them learn English.
This gentleman had learned many different languages including some languages that were not easy to learn. He learned French first, and then he learned Italian. His third language was Spanish. The first three languages were romance languages so these were related in many ways.
